The series, the Exorcist might well have more than two seasons

The Exorcist, this is the class we love and we are the first surprised. Must also say that, for once, the Fox has not done things by half. And when we learn that the season 2 is coming soon, inevitably, it is no longer in place.

And we’re going to kick on until the 29th September next, since it is this date that will be aired the first episode of season 2 of The Exorcist. A new season that we will in a new setting, with a new family and a new storyline, but still the fathers Tomas and Marcus, determined to conquer the Evil that seizes hold of the heart of men.

A season 2, which, also, almost do not see the light of day because the scores of the first season were not necessarily those expected and that the studio has weighed the for and against for a long time before accepting to continue with the series. Suffice to say that, this time, The Exorcist has not the right to the error. And it would seem that the show runners, Jeremy Slater and Sean Crouch, are well aware of that since they have just handed the microphone to Screen Rant that they had big plans for the series and that they were well beyond two seasons :

“We kind of laid tags general, for that we already have an end in mind, just in case, and we will answer any questions when the time comes. This is very important for us.

You can’t tell the story of a family over seven years, don’t stop do still have it, and even without that the public don’t you hate it in the end to put this family as much in the shit. So, the idea is that each year corresponds to a different case, where we will have different cases of possession and different families, and it is therefore our characters Tomas and Marcus that you will follow and which you will identify.”

A solution of the most intelligent actually, which will avoid a certain monotony and a ridiculous poindrait very quickly if we devoted to the same family for the rest of the series. But the important thing to remember is that the show runners are considering The Exorcist for 7 seasons, and that it is a very good news. After, of course, all this is only a fantasy for now, since it’s already that season 2 is pleasing to the spectators for it to be again renewed in season 3.

But there is hope.
