Until then, the American chain had managed to protect its data successfully but it suffered an unfortunate event at the beginning of the week. HBO has been heavily hacked: 1.5 terabytes of data in total. As for what the hackers have stolen, the extent is still not clear. The Spoils of War , did not appear to have been stolen, but a very detailed summary of the script allowed HBO to find that they “experienced a cyber incidents that compromised proprietary information . ” This script, dating from April 2016, suggests that it is more of a rough draft than a finalized episode description. EDIT : We just learned that the episode has been put online by hackers today, not just the script. It seems that hackers have far more data than we thought. Episode 4 of Season 7 of GOT has been disclosed online in a lower quality format, however. We hope HBO will solve the problem shortly …
