At the Mirabel circuit ICAR a facelift and took the opportunity to recreate one of the roads in the most mythical in the world.

Connecting Chicago to Los Angeles, Route 66 has become a real symbol of freedom. It is the dream of a roadtrip of thousands of people.

Failing to take the road and cross the continent on this legendary crossing of 3665 kilometres, ICAR has recreated the atmosphere of Route 66 and made it the official inauguration last week.

There are several elements of decoration, reminding us of the automobile culture in american, from old signs from gas stations with old cars planted in the ground. A bar using the same theme, the Smokehouse, has also opened its doors.

For younger children, a van bearing the image of Mater, from the movie “Cars”, flies definitely the star.

The spirit of Route 66, now lives in Quebec!
