Jaguar is a manufacturer of cars of prestige. Who would have thought that he would have been able to beat a record in the field of skiing?
Yet, this is what happened.
The exercise is simple. It consists of attaching a cable to the back of a car. The skier holds the cable firmly and tries to survive as best as he can.
The previous record had been established then that the car’s speed was 112 km/h. Here, Jaguar has pushed the limit by setting a new Guinness world record with a recorded speed of 188 km/h.
This feat has been achieved by Graham Bell, a skier, british olympic, and a sublime Jaguar XF S Sportbrake.
This Jaguar was the car designated to establish this record because of its V6 3.0-liter turbocharged 380-horsepower and four-wheel drive.
Alas, the wagon version of the Jaguar XF will not be shipped to Canada. Our american neighbours will be even more fortunate than us… otherwise, it will be the same for the Buick Regal Wagon.
