Shunned by the Golden Globes and the general public, Twin Peaks season 3 has enthralled fans and movie-goers. And could return soon.
If there is officially no plan for a hypothetical fourth season, the declarations of the various participants in the show clearly suggests that not only discussions are conducted in this purpose, but that Showtime is also motivated to transform the test.
This is what has been confirmed with clarity Gary Levine, responsible for the programming of the Network, to an audience of journalist gathered by the Television Critic’s Association in Pasadena a few days ago.

“We are delighted to have been Twin Peaks, absolutely delighted, the reaction of the fans was amazing… It took 25 years to get from 1.0 to 2.0. Add to that what David Lynch has done was nothing less than Herculean – the scene-setting in 18 hours of television… It is Herculean and he did it beautifully. I don’t know when it will want to do more. The door is always open for Mark Frost and David Lynch on Twin Peaks – or anything else that they want to speak to us. “
This is the net and without burrs. Knowing that David Lynch has also noted that there was nothing impossible to this that Twin Peaks reappear, the door seems wide open. It must be said that the series has become an emblem particularly prestigious, a synonym for media visibility and honor in the Festival.
