The Walking Dead is the most watched series of 2016
It’s official: the first half of The Walking Dead Season 7 makes the show of Robert Kirkman the most watched series of American television. The series is broadcast on AMC and in US + 24 on OCS Choc.
The zombies have never been so alive! AMC announced that the first half of The Walking Dead Season 7 holds the record for the largest audience for a US series. In its first 8 episodes, creating Robert Kirkman meets an average of 16.1 million viewers across all platforms.
For the 5th consecutive year, the show of undead occupies the first place of the rankings, but will it occupy it again in April next? Indeed, the series lost 10% of its direct audience (the one watching the show at the time of its broadcast on AMC).

It should be noted nonetheless that Talking Dead , the debriefing by AMC Episode dissemination once complete, is the first talk show in the US media landscape, with an average of 5.5 million followers emission.
The magazine Variety does not share the opinion of viewers, having qualified for The Walking Dead one of the “worst shows” in 2016.
The series will return on February 12 on AMC and on OCS Choc in US + 24.
