When it is a question of reliability, the inequality in the automotive world.
And if we look at the latest reliability report from JD Power, the american brands still have a hard time in the matter. According to the study based on 36 896 responses of u.s. owners of vehicles aged three years, five of the 10 vehicle brands that have experienced the most problems are of american origin.
Here, the tenth to be the most problematic, the 10 marks that are crumbling at the bottom of the top 2018 of JD Power.

10. Volvo
The luxury brand, the Swedish Volvo has long had the reputation of being indestructible, but the report from JD Power shows that its vehicles are not exempt from problems, however. We found 162 problems per 100 vehicles while the average for the industry as a whole is drawn 142 problems.
9. Dodge
Great used of the basement from the top of JD Power, Dodge goes up the slope, slowly but surely. After having been the worst brand according to the results of the winners of the 2016, it is passed to the fourth rank last year and is now ninth with 166 problems per 100 vehicles.
8. Ram
Always in the family of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), Ram has not done better than Dodge with a harvest of 167 problems per 100 vehicles. It is still better than the 183 problems that had been identified in the study last year.
7. Subaru
The japanese cars usually have a reputation for reliability that is strong enough, but some of them continue to have problems. This is the case for Subaru, which happens to equal with Ram with 167 problems per 100 vehicles.
6. Mitsubishi
Like last year, Mitsubishi remains in the shallows of the charts with 173 problems per 100 vehicles. With Subaru, are the only two japanese brands to be included in the table of dishonour.
5. Cadillac
In the General Motors luxury brand, Cadillac made a poor figure with 186 problems per 100 vehicles. Rather ironic, when you know that Chevrolet and Buick are part of the list of the 10 most trusted brands according to the same study.
4. Jeep
As the other group’s brands FCA, Jeep is a regular on the table of cancres JD Power. This year is no exception to the rule, whereas 188 problems per 100 vehicles have been listed.
3. Fiat
Worst brand of the industry according to the study of 2017, Fiat back slightly this year with 192 problems per 100 vehicles. It is still rather annoying, we agree.
2. Land Rover
Are you really surprised? Land Rover has made huge progress since its passage in the hands of Tata Motors, there are now 10 years old. Except that obviously, the reliability issues are not yet resolved.
1. Chrysler
Yes, it is still a trademark of the group FCA, which records the worst score in the ranking of JD Power. After Fiat last year, it was the turn of Chrysler to take place at the last position of the ranking, with a crop of 211 problems per 100 vehicles. Ouch.
