Speeding up to 240 km/h, the police has not been able to catch up with the mighty Hellcat, who pursued his way in spite of the lawsuit. The driver would can be fired if he had not eventually had to decelerate because of the two trucks were driven at the same speed on the two lanes of the highway.
Once immobilized, the driver of the car, a man of 38 years old, has just explained to the patrolman that he was trying to get up to Maryland. And as if the excessive speed was not enough, the hit and was travelling with an expired driver’s license.
The man was arrested for dangerous driving and was sent to the prison of the county of LaPorte, still in Indiana.

Powered by a V8 engine surcompressé of 6.2 litres, the Dodge Challenger Hellcat is rated insane 707 horsepower.
Capable of reaching a maximum speed well over 300 km/h, the Hellcat caught in this story was still far from having reached its limit.
“An accident at that speed would be catastrophic,” concludes the Indiana State Police. Fortunately, this was not the case.
