Alien : a big rumor evokes the arrival of a future tv series

With the return of the Predator, needless to say that the big monsters of the space will be in fashion again. And this is not what will displease, even if there am a bit afraid for our Alien favorite.

Franchise polymorphic and complex, the saga Alien has a lot of trouble to put everyone of agreement. Which is rather a good thing at the bottom. And in recent years, it has experienced a fate more complicated, between the taken in hand by Ridley Scott for Prometheus, the cancellation of the Alien 5 of Neill Blomkamp and the release of’Alien : Covenant, we cannot say that our Anhedral love is at the top.

Attention by cons, it is not said that the latest movies are null and void, it is quite the opposite (even if they share even today, the writing, the author of these lines considering Covenant as almost a masterpiece), but it is necessary to go to the obvious : the deductible is not the most lucrative nor the most popular. And yet, it still has a huge value in the eyes of the fans. Then, at a time when one wonders if Scott will be able to make his next film in this universe, here’s a strange rumor reaches our ears.

The first Alien

If you believe the site Omega Underground, 20th Century Fox would be working on a tv series adapted from Alien ! Definitely ! Of course, the crucial information are missing and it is therefore impossible to know more, even if the site states from the outset that it would not be a classic series following the pattern of one of the movies of the saga, it does focuses not on the Anhedral, in particular, but would take place in the same universe as the films.

An idea that might work if it is approached the right way but that is the state of rumor, sinceno official comment does confirm it, even if the website is going on the assumption that the Fox could soon communicate around this project and announce it officially, especially in anticipation of next year which will see 40 years of the franchise.

So, for the moment, one is calm and drink costs, nothing is yet done. But, frankly, quite between ourselves, that you brancherait or not such a thing ? We, we don’t really know what to think…
