The Infiniti QX50 changes look to 2019, but it is under the hood that the change actually operates.
It is with the QX50 Infiniti has decided to start marketing its all-new engine VC-Turbo, the first engine at variable compression marketable in the world.
Designed to achieve exemplary energy efficiency, the gasoline engine four-cylinder 2.0-litre adjusts constantly to its compression ratio by adapting to road conditions and maneuvers of the person at the wheel, in order to both optimize performance and fuel consumption.
With that, we ad a power of 268 horses in addition to a combined fuel consumption city/highway 8.7 L/100 km, an improvement of 30% compared to the old engine of the QX50. This new engine is mated to an automatic transmission to continuous variation.

The QX50 2019 also includes the help system to the drive ProPilot Assist, which allows the vehicle to support the driver in certain steps, in particular during maneuvers on the highway.
