Arrow season 5: Episode 18, Diggle opposes the Bratva, our critic

Oliver, traumatized by Chase, abandoned his team in episode 18 of Arrow’s season 5. Discover our review of “Disbanded”!
Last week in episode 17 of Arrow’s Season 5, Oliver hung up his Green Arrow costume and was still not determined to postpone it. The hero has even abandoned and dissolved his Team. How did the team react? Did Chase really win? For him, Chase is right about him. But John does not give up and takes control of the team. Felicity takes care of Chase while the rest of the team will continue to protect the city until the Green Arrow regains its spirits. Chase has the guts to show himself at Oliver’s office and Quentin is absolutely furious. We understand it! But Oliver really seems to have dropped his arms, but contrary to what he believes, Chase has not finished with him in Arrow’s season 5 . It gives him the choice to kill him and be punished or let him live knowing he can not do anything. In a flashback, Oliver is determined to return to Lian Yu while Anatoly tells him to still need him. At Helix, Felicity discovers that on surveillance cameras Chase’s face is blurred by a scrambler, she should be able to expose Adrian as Prometheus with another technology in Arrow’s season 5 . If poor Susan tries to help Oliver, The latter prefers to break to protect it. He then contacts Anatoly and asks him to kill Chase. If his friend agrees, he still asks him a payment to be sure he is serious.
While Felicity is moving forward with its mission within Helix, Team Arrow goes on a mission and finds itself face to face with the Bratva stealing drugs . Looks like Oliver accepted the Anatoly deal. If Diggle is furious, Oliver is also furious to see that the Team has not listened and continues to operate. The mayor confesses to his friend that he asked the Bratva to kill Chase. John is determined not to let Oliver make that mistake while the mayor persists in saying that he simply protects his team by doing so. The whole team is shocked by Oliver’s recent actions. While Felicity turns his back, Curtis does not fail to take a look at his conversations with the members of Helix. As for the young woman, She seems to believe that if Oliver thinks Bratva is the solution, he may be right in Arrow season 5. Poor Diggle! He finds himself face to face with his two friends … John still does not drop his arms. But Oliver puts his position on the assertion that his crusade was a mere excuse to kill, something in him is broken. He dissolved the Team because he does not want to see them participate in his thirst to kill. He then asked Diggle and the team to stay away from him, Chase and let the Bratva finish their mission . But obviously John does not listen and wants to prevent the Bratva from killing Chase not for the latter but to save Oliver’s soul. They then intercept the Bratva while Oliver places Prometheus under close surveillance.
The mayor is however furious against Diggle that he does not fail to hit! We also do not come back! It must be said that now Chase is untouchable even by the Bratva. John reminds his friend that when he killed his brother and was ready to rot in prison, Oliver helped him. He asks her to let him do the same. On Helix’s side, Curtis invites himself because he has seized the jammer of Chase and thanks to a technology of Kord Industries they will be able to expose Prometheus in the season 5 of Arrow . If Oliver tries to cancel his deal with Anatoly, the latter refuses. If Oliver interferes again, he will become an enemy of the Bratva. But the lawyer intends to stop them with the help of his team. Yes, he is back! Bravo Diggle! While Felicity and Curtis are entering Kord Industries, the rest of the team tries to stop the Bratva but Anatoly has foreseen the blow. Indeed, he has many hostages in order to stop Oliver from arresting him. But the judge decides to stop the Bratva and rescue the hostages. Eventually, Felicity, Curtis and the Team succeeded in their mission. They now have all the keys in hand to bring down Chase. Oliver finds Anatoly warning him that his men are likely to take revenge while in a flashback he was worried about what he could become … After the video was identified, the police watching Chase get ready To stop him but he succeeds in killing them and escaping . “Disbanded” Was a very good episode, pleasant to watch. We particularly liked the parallel between the flashbacks and the present, which once illustrated the difference between the Anatoly of the past and the present. As for Diggle, he was just perfect in this episode, just like Stephen Amell as a tortured Oliver. Will the Team manage to stop Chase after the twist of the end?
