At the crossroads of the worlds, the trilogy of literature, Philip Pullman, will entertain a new screen adaptation thanks to the BBC and the chain has unveiled the first images.

After its adaptation to the BBC Radio 4 in 2003 (taken from 2008 to 2009), in two plays – a 6-hour (in two parts) written by Nicholas Wrigth (2003-2004) and one created by the Birmingham Repertory Theater and the cinema with the film by Chris Weitz At the crossroads of the worlds : The Compass of gold (which has not received the expected success), At the crossroads of the worlds is far from the first adaptation of the classic Philip Pullman.

Little wonder, therefore, what the BBC decides to make a new start in this trilogy is fantastic. Moreover, the british channel has issued a first teaser of its series to bring the fans of the story in the leg.

And if we cannot guess much about parallel universes, the protagonists go through, these images reveal a part of his very nice casting. We cross there, in fact, Dafne Keen (Logan) in the role of Lyra Belacqua, Ruth Wilson (Luther) in the Marisa Listen, James McAvoy (Glass) in Lord Asriel, Clarke Peters (True Detective) as Dr. Carne and Lin-Manuel Miranda (The Return of Mary Poppins).

The story revolves around Lyra, a young ordinary woman and a brave from another world and searching for one of his friends who was kidnapped. But during her investigation, she discovers a conspiracy involving child abduction.

No release date has yet been announced, but if it is not that we should “soon” have access to it. On the other hand, these first images promise a lot of spectacle, action and suspense.
