Two months after having declared that Tesla was going straight into bankruptcy, Bob Lutz has added a layer during a gathering of car collectors in Arizona.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the business man well-known to the automotive world would have advised the collectors to get a Tesla Model S “while he was yet”.

The merits of the sedan american electric, Lutz recalled that the CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, “has not directed that the income should be higher than the expenses”.

“When you are constantly lacking in money, you do not direct a good car company”, he added.

Bob Lutz has taken advantage of his intervention to boast the merits of the Model S. “In 25 years, will be remembered as the Model S as the first electric car that was nice and quick. People will say “too bad they have made bankrupt””.

Recall that last November, Bob Lutz had argued that Tesla wouldn’t make it in 2019 if it continues to spend at the rate it did. “The design [of the cars Tesla] is good, but the business model is terrible,” he then commented.
