2017 is, therefore, the year of Stephen King. The novelist has indeed made a comeback in the explosive, with many of his writings rehabilitated, It arriving of course in the lead. But this was only the first stage of its rocket.

Because yes, everything suggests that the year 2017 will not be an isolated event concerning one of the greatest writers of horror of all time. The projects are multiplying, surfing course on the hype and, if it does not reach necessarily its objectives (kisses The Dark Tower), and the broadcasters still have it under the elbow. The King has rarely been as popular and what is not we who are we going to complain about it.

If it is already waiting on a firm footing the second part of It in 2019, our mind should be well occupied until then since a lot of projects are in development around this that we hesitate even to call the KINGdom. And among them, there is of course the mysterious series Castle Rock, produced by J. J. Abrams for the streaming platform Hulu.

A series, of which we hear about for a long time and which we know in the end very little if it is not that it will take place in the imaginary city’s iconic Stephen King, Castle Rock so. This should be the meeting point of several novels of the master, who would share the same universe.

Whether it’s Shining, Cujo, Salem , or Carrie, they should all be there so that we do not know yet exactly the reason that brings them together. Scheduled for broadcast in 2018, Castle Rock comes to unveil its first trailer on the occasion of the New York Comic Con and you should not rely on it to give us all the answers that you are expecting. On the contrary, it would tend to thicken even more the mystery. But the few clues scattered here and there, are enough to stir our desire to know more.

Hoping that in the end everything is yours, of course.
