The reversal in the total of the story of the first movie was probably the best thing to do and behind it all lies a background of melancholy, some of which, if well exploited, could downright make its small effect : the struggle of two men to become themselves. One, a former champion, becomes the guarantor of morality and justice, and to especially not to lose his social status.
