Daredevil : Charlie Cox confesses that he tried to save his series in the biggest secret

While the season 2 of the Punisher is now available on Netflix, and we’re all very fatalistic about their survival, it revives the wound in the cancellation of Daredevil.

That one is not mistaken there, however. It was also a little sad when it was learned that Luke Cage, it was finished. Well, it was already a hell of a lot less difficult when we were told that’Iron Fist stopped. But Daredevil, it was felt to pass. And, somewhere, it is still not delivered. Yet, the fans fought for the show was still a chance, but the complications between Disney and Netflix in terms of the launch of the platform Disney + had a result of all these efforts.

The avenger broke into a full success

Who pulls the plug ? Disney or Netflix ? In the end, this is not the most important, since this is not going to make us the series. And Charlie Cox himself tried to save it, like everyone else, by signing the online petition. Except that it was done in the greatest secrecy, as it comes to explain it to The Playlist, in a good super-hero that he is :

“I was not very comfortable with the idea of leaving my e-mail address. I don’t understand what is technical and I didn’t want to throw my address on the Internet. I didn’t know if it was going to be visible or not. Then I created a fake account for my two year old daughter and it is she who has signed the petition.”

A small manip that will, however, not enough to save Daredevil. And it is hoped that a reversal of the situation in his favor to happen, it was nevertheless obliged to return to the shock that was the cancellation of the series a few weeks ago :

“I was very surprised. In fact, I was shocked. After the success of last season, I imagined that we would do yet another. I’m not really aware of all the politics that goes on behind the scenes. I don’t know what will happen. I know nothing about the algorithm that decides to make a series or not. I’ve read things on the separation, Disney-Netflix, Disney + and I don’t know to what extent this is true.

But it is the business that wants it, I don’t take it personally. Still, I’m really sad. I really hope that something will happen to allow us to continue to do the series. But you can’t bet on it, because ultimately, we don’t know what is going on.

Goodbye complicated

I was really saddened by this cancellation, I thought it was going to do another season. From another side, it is really nice that we were able to finish the series on a note that high. That the season has been much appreciated. It is better to focus on the positive in this story.”

There was no denying that Charlie Cox has always been bad and we also. And, without wanting to play the bird of ill-omen, it seems difficult for Daredevil to come back in the form that we have known up to now. This would be only for rights issues. But hey, one never knows…
