A resident of Colorado does not expect to find a decaying body in a cage of an elevator of his residential building when he was bothered by a foul smell.

The smell foul reeked of the walls of the entrance hall to the apartment of Joe Palmer, Tuesday. It is by seeing a police team to investigate it has asked a number of questions.

“I had a doubt about the scent. I know the smell of a dead rat because I’m an exterminator,” says Mr. Palmer to “CNN”.

When Mr Palmer has questioned his owner on the cause of the smell, he replied: “they found a human body”. Mr. Palmer did not believe his eyes. “I thought he was making me a joke”, he adds.

An autopsy will be performed in the coming days to know the cause of this death.
