A Montreal wants to bring a collective action against Airbnb, in which he criticized for not immediately display the total price of a rental, such as the law requires.

“In doing so, Airbnb is breaking the Law on the protection of the consumer,” said lawyer Joey Zukran in the application as filed this week at the superior Court of Quebec.

The lawyer gives the example of the Montreal Martin Preisler-Banoon who wanted to spend a few days in Florida in the past month. However, during the first stage of the booking process, the service charges were not posted, contrary to the cleaning costs.
