Waited for months, it’s today that had to be the unveiling of the Nissan Leaf second-generation.

Several changes and improvements are on the menu. To know everything, read these few major points.

1. The battery life is extended. It goes for 172 miles for the 2017 model to 241 kilometres to the model 2018, thanks to a new battery of 40 kWh.

2. Its base price is 35 998$ in Canada.

3. Obviously, the government grants will also apply to this new model. There is talk of 8000$ for Quebec and$ 14 000 for Ontarians.

4. Of series, the Nissan Leaf is designed to make the winter less unpleasant as possible. It is equipped with heated seats front and rear, plus heated steering wheel and heater battery.

5. Its arrival in the concessionaires of Quebec is planned for the beginning of the year 2018. No precise date has yet been fixed.
