At the head of Uber for only a few months, Khosrowshahi took the opportunity to highlight the great problem of traffic congestion which has become a scourge for many cities around the world.
Even if the company he leads has been working actively in the development of autonomous vehicles, Dara Khosrowshahi has also been argued that this kind of technology will not be fully developed before 10 or 15 years because of the complexity of creating maps reliable enough and the cost of the equipment.
48-year-old iranian-american Dara Khosrowshahi has been at the helm of the company to Expedia for more than 10 years. Last August, he joined Uber as CEO, replacing Travis Kalanick, co-founder of the california-based company.
