Discover the trailers of the new series that will be broadcast on the American channel ABC during the season 2017-2018!
After NBC and FOX, it was ABC’s turn to unveil its programming for the 2017-2018 season, as well as the trailers of the upcoming releases. And the least we can say is that there is a good package of new series that will arrive on the American channel, remains to be seen if they will all seduce and find their audience. Also note that ABC officially ordered a new spin-off at Gray’s Anatomy . A very recent news and so the project has not yet trailer. In addition, the channel will also offer a reboot of the comedy Roseanne who will return with its original cast for 8 episodes . Many of ABC’s new products will not be released until mid-season, so they will have to be particularly patient before they can be discovered.
Alex, Inc.
Zach Braff (Scrubs) is back on television with a new comedy called Alex, Inc . And inspired by the Start-up podcast . The series will follow the story of a father who decides to leave his work as a journalist overnight to start his own business . There are also Michael Imperioli, Tiya Sircar and Hillary Anne Matthews at the cast. The series will start at mid-season, most certainly early 2018.
The Crossing
In a totally different genre ABC has commissioned this drama with a science fiction twist as war refugees land in an American city and that the war they seek to flee happens 250 years in the future . This is a more than interesting postulate and if we add a conspiracy, all the ingredients are brought together to offer us a good drama full of suspense. The cast is Steve Zahn, Sandrine Holt, Rob Campbell and Jay Karnes, and the series will be released from mid-season on.
Disappointment
After a writer, a mentalist, the devil and many others, it is the turn of a magician to come to the assistance of the police in Deception . Indeed, while his career has just been ruined by a frightful scandal, Cameron Black has no choice but to put his talents as an illusionist at the service of the FBI. Jack Cutmore-Scott, Ilfenesh Hadera, Amaury Nolasco, Lenora Crichlow and Vinnie Jones are casting this new police series which will be, as the first two, offered at mid-season.
For the People
It would not be ABC without a novelty coming from the production company of Shonda Rhimes, Shondaland! For the People is a legal drama whose intrigue will take place in the Southern District of the New York Federal Court, also known as the “Mother Court”. We will be following lawyers as they deal with high-profile, high-risk cases in the country. Like any Shondaland series that replicates, we will of course be led to follow the personal lives of the characters in For the People . This series will be available in mid-season, most certainly when the broadcast of season 4 of How To Get Away With Murder is over, as The Catch has been canceled.
The Good Doctor
So he just left us under the Norman Bates traits in the series Bates Motel , Freddie Highmore is already back on TV in a medical drama called The Good Doctor . He interprets the role of a young surgeon with the syndrome of the scientist, a diagnosis not medically recognized but which includes developmental disorders, such as autism. How will this man who has just been recruited by a prestigious hospital in the pediatric surgery department save lives without empathy? This is the question posed by the series. Antony Thomas, Nicholas Gonzalez, Chuku Modu, Richard Schiff and Beau Garrett are also casting, and the series will air on Monday night this fall.
The Gospel of Kevin
In this drama we will follow Kevin (Jason Ritter), a rather unlucky man to whom God will entrust a mission: save the world. In addition to Jason Ritter (Parenthood) , JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Cristela Alonzo, J. August Richards, Beaufort India, Dustin Ybarra and Chloe East. The series will be broadcast this fall, on Tuesday night in place of Agents of SHIELD which is moved to Friday.
The Mayor
Lea Michele (Glee) arrives in a comedy starring Brandon Michael Hall and Yvette Nicole Brown (Community), which will air on Tuesday night to complete the comedy night of ABC, starting this fall. The Mayor tells the story of an idealistic and frank rapper who gets elected after a bid that was supposed to be just a hit . Once a mayor, he will surprise everyone, even him, while he will have a natural flair for this work.
Splitting Up Together
Would the best way to reconcile with his / her spouse be divorce? That’s what the trailer of Splitting Up Together , this comedy inspired by a 2016 Danish series, featuring Jenna Fischer (The Office) , Oliver Hudson and Diane Farr,
Ten Days in the Valley
This series of 10 episodes is a police drama in which the little girl of a TV producer, Jane Sadler (Kyra Sedgwick) disappears reproducing in a worrying way what happens in the police series she produces . This promises a drama with suspense panting and it is hoped that it will live up to our expectations.
The Inhumans
We do not yet have a trailer for Marvel’s Inhumans, but ABC has unveiled a teaser of this series which will be offered as of autumn 2017, on Friday night. The series will consist of only 8 episodes and Agents of SHIELD will replace it when it is finished. In this series, we will tell the story of the royal family of the Inhumans and Black Arrow (Black Bolt). The Inhumans’ cast include Iwan Rheon aka Ramsay Bolton of Game of Thrones , Serinda Swan, Eme Ikwuakor, Isabelle Cornish, Ken Leung, Ellen Woglom, Sonya Balmores and Mike Moh.
