Freed from Afghan captivity last year, the canadian accused of several felonies. The trial of a man on 3 January.

 

A canadian man had volunteered in Afghanistan. There he and his wife were captured by the military of the enemy. Almost 5 years the family had to stay in Afghanistan. There they had four children. One daughter was killed by the Afghans.

In early October of 2017, a family with three children returned from captivity. By plane from London they were sent to Toronto.

Now the former prisoner charged in 15 episodes. Some of the crimes are very serious. For example, a canadian is accused of sexual violence, the imprisonment of a person against their will, making a false statement to the police, the use of toxic substances, and death threats. These and other illegal action man made in October last year, immediately after his return from captivity.

Today, January 3, will be the trial of 34-year-old man. Previously, he said that while he was in captivity he was regularly beaten and his wife raped.
