Whereas since Tuesday, Mcdonald’s serves fresh meat in some sandwiches in the United States, the restaurants of Canada do not count follow suit in the near future.

Contacted by the journaldequebec.com, Mcdonald’s Canada indicates that, even if he was inspired by their counterparts across the globe, he did not “intend to provide fresh beef for the moment.”

Since 6 march last, 3 500 restaurants in eight cities in the us now serve a sandwich quarter pound, among others, with fresh meat and not frozen. All restaurants in the country should do the same by the beginning of the month of may, reports ABC.

It has not been said if Mcdonald’s USA will do the same with the Big Mac, but the company has stated that it will evaluate the possibility according to the reaction of consumers.

In an advertisement presented in the last Super Bowl, Wendy’s had publicly pointed the finger at the chain restaurants because they used frozen meat.
