Season 2 of the superb and edgy series in the Future Man comes back the next year and it promises to be even more crazy than season 1.

In addition to its countless novelties (Watchmen, Too Old to Die Young, Devs…), the year 2019 is announcing the return of two great series, very expected. Season 3 of True Detective, which will land soon on the 13th of January, but especially the season 8 and final season of Game of Thrones in April. However, before all of this, the hostilities will begin with the return of the series, the wackiest of 2017 : Future Man.

The series, largely inspired by The Last Starfighter, had made us delirious with its first season, multiplying the winks of eye to the pop-culture, must-see Back to the future and Terminator, through Top Gun, the Army of The 12 monkeys , or even the universe of Star Wars. This season 2 will probably not align the references also which Blade Runner. A first teaser has just been unveiled by Hulu.

With the first images revealed a few weeks ago, this second season announced a future very different to the series. The teaser confirms it with our trio in a futuristic world where slavery reigns , and where many technologies seem to have disappeared. And it is normal in view of the synopsis published for the occasion :

“Season 2 begins in 2162. Josh (Josh Hutcherson), Tiger (Eliza Coupe) and Wolf (Derek Wilson) learn that their mission in season 1 to prevent making the remedy ultimately failed. In this timeline, Stu Camillo (Haley Joel Osment) is now in power, after having created the cure and launched a plan for the relocation of mankind on Mars. An organization is brunette, The Pointed Circle, is seeking to recruit Josh to kill Stu – but is it nice or is it Stu ?.

While Wolf quickly get used to the strange customs of the future, Tiger struggles with her identity, biotic and seeks to escape. Josh joins the team in a plan epic to save the world. But their trip in time will catch up with them, their choice will count on what they will do next.”

As one might hope, Future Man will still jump on board with a big delusions of decadent and politically incorrect. All the more that the producer Seth Rogen will be making an appearance in the series and his role sounds more funny. All that to say that the season 2 of the series from Hulu arrives on January 11, 2019 in the United States, and surely a few weeks (or months) later on OCS in France. Strongly !
