Game of Thrones season 7: Episode 3, the 5 key moments!

Cinema 31 July, 2017

The long-awaited Season 7 episode of Game of Thrones was broadcast last night on our screens! Let’s come back together on the 5 key moments.

Game of Thrones Season 7 episode 3 finally arrived on HBO and OCS simultaneously, offering us a much anticipated encounter: Jon Snow and Daenerys! Rhythmic from beginning to end, the episode does not make us waste our time. War is already raging between the main characters of Westeros, not to mention that the White Walkers are on the way. The Queen’s Justice has offered us alliances, revenge and death of a considerable character of the show! In other words, the key moments were many, here they are!

The meeting between Jon Snow and Daenerys: song of ice and fire!

Finally, Jon Sow landed at Dragonstone to meet the Mother of the Dragons! After a somewhat comical introduction thanks to Ser Davos and his lack of words to define the status of Jon, the two characters quickly returned in a tense debate. Snow refused to bend the knee before Daenerys while she refused to believe him when he evoked the White Walkers. In the end, Tyrion’s persuasive talent managed to ally them and Daenerys agreed to give Jon Snow dragonglass. We are in a hurry to see more in episode 4 of season 7 of Game of Thrones!
Euron brings a nice gift to Cersei

Euron arrived triumphant at Kingslanding. He brought his prisoners to Cersei: Ellaria and her daughter, Tyene. In return for this offering, Cersei promised him a marriage if they won the war and appointed him at the head of the ships of the Kingdom. Jaime did not look pleased! Faced with her daughter’s murderous, Cersei was at once vulnerable by evoking the death of Marcella and pitiless as always by announcing her vengeance. In return, she poisoned Tyene in front of her mother’s impotent gaze. We do not want him too much! And Yara in all this?
The reunion of Sansa and Bran

Finally, a real meeting between brothers and sisters Stark! But this one left us with marble just as Bran remained impassive during the embrace of his big sister. The young Stark has only one thing in mind: to reveal to Jon Snow the identity of his father targaryen. Bran informs him that he is the Three Eyed-Raven, although she does not understand what that means. Not cool on her part to remind Sansa the night she was raped at Ramsay Bolton, anyway. Sansa would do better to tackle her duties as Queen of the North, which she manages to perfection at the moment.
The new failure of the targary army

The power of Daenerys has limits! For the moment it is clearly Cersei who leads the game. The queen of the Dragons wipes failure: after seeing his fleet annihilated by Euron Greyjoy, the Lannister army deserted Casterly Rock for Highgarden knowing that the men of Daenerys would come. It looks like the Queen of Dragons will soon need reinforcement! It falls well Jorah is cured and is about to join her.
Olenna takes her bow

Certainly, the women of Westeros have not been trained to fight on the front, but they are the true warriors in Game of Thrones. Olenna makes her bow, making sure that Cersei finds out that she is the real murderer of her son Joffrey. Will Jaime reveal the truth to the beloved sister? We’ll miss you Olenna!
Small bonus: Theon is back!
