Game of Thrones season 7: Melisandre’s essential role in a new trailer

Season 7 of Game of Thrones has already started but it did not stop HBO from teaser the following with a new trailer unveiled at Comic Con 2017!

While we were explaining to you recently why Game of Thrones beat all records with the premiere season, you are now offered to take an interest in the next episodes. Yeah, the San Diego Comic Con that’s taking place right now has not been very exciting for fans of spoilers that we are with regards to Game of Thrones. It must be said that with a season in progress, it is difficult to disclose many things and these are mainly classical questions that were asked during the panel. But to satisfy the most curious, HBO took advantage of this opportunity to unveil a new trailer of the sequel.

As you can see above, the new promo video takes back quite a few images of the trailer of the season 7 of Game of Thrones with however some novelties. Obviously the central theme remains the war that will tear Westeros with on one side the confrontation between Cersei and Daenerys for the Iron Throne and on the other the imminent arrival of the Night King and his army of White Walkers against Jon. The last few seconds show us that Melisandre, red priestess of R’hllor, may well have a more important role than we think. After Stannis, it seems she has finally bet on the right horse with Daenerys and she could have a key role in the war against the White Walkers.
