Monday, 7 of January, it was discovered new images of the ultimate season of Game of Thrones, as a sort of appetizer to wait until its release. Between the presentations of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and the ride of the dragon Viserion by the King of the Night, the mini-preview is too short, but rather exciting.
Powers the games to sit his family on the Iron Throne and the fight against the Walkers White will find their end in April 2019, after almost two years of waiting and nine years of a show. The opportunity for the CEO of HBO Richard Pepler, to go back on what he has seen of this season 8 in the micro of Variety :

“It is a spectacle. The type has made six films. The reaction I had as I watched was : “I’m trying to watch a movie”. They [editor’s note : the show runners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss] knew that the bar was set high. They have outdone themselves. I watched twice without the special effects and I’m impressed “.
Even if this statement is not a guarantee of quality (Richard Pepler’s not going to kill the season 8 in the egg), the most passionate fans should be reassured. This season will be certainly shorter than the previous number of episode, but they will last on average 90 minutes, or the time of a feature film.
If its 6 films-episodes are at the height of some of the productions in the previous Game of Thrones, as the episode of battle of the Bastards in season 6, we will be happy. The verdict will take place in April. In the meantime, this is the season 3 of True Detective arrives on the chain and OCS in France on the 14th of January.
