The heroines have been put in the spotlight during the 75th Golden Globes ceremony with the victories of Big Little Lies, The Handmaid”s Tale and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. For the top film, it is HERE.

Even if its two show lights Game of Thrones and Westworld have been able to do anything, HBO is the big winner of the 75th ceremony of the Golden Globes. His mini-series Big Little Lies has literally left nothing to his competitors for the night.

Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, the show has won four awards : best mini-series, best actress for Nicole Kidman, best actress in a supporting role for Laura Dern) and best actor in a supporting role for Alexander Skarsgård.

Only Ewan McGregor manages to insert it into the top of the mini-series and tv movies (in a category where Big Little Lies was not named), awarded the trophy for best actor for his double role in season 3 of Fargo.

No one has been able to do anything in the face of moms of Big Little Lies

On the side of dramas, no surprise either, since the image of the Emmys a few months ago, this is the series dystopian The Handmaid’s Tale that has been rewarded on two occasions. The series Hulu has received the Golden Globe for best drama series and best actress in a drama series for his excellent interpreter Elisabeth Moss.

Among the actors, Sterling K. Brown wins her first Golden Globes (best actor dramatic) for his performance ultra-moving in the no-less compelling series This Is Us.

After an Emmy in September, Elisabeth Moss won a Golden Globe

Finally, the comedies have graced a series that are still little known in France : The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel with the Golden Globes for best comedy series and best actress in a comedy series for the young Rachel Brosnahan. This series Amazon tells the story of Miriam “Midge” Maisel, New York, 1958. Her little perfect life but it’s going to take a turn unexpectedly when she discovers a talent for stand-up.

Netflix will not restart empty-handed because Aziz Ansari has been awarded by the Golden Globes for best actor in a comedy series or musical for the sublime season 2 of Master of None.

Few surprises for the series during this ceremony finally. HBO still dominates the tv despite the low appointments of his shows headlights. On the other hand, one can note the rise in power of the platforms of streaming since Hulu, Netflix and Amazon leave these three with 5 Golden Globes.
