Happy Birthday Papa, we celebrate the best darons cinema!

Cinema 18 June, 2017

Being a father is not easy because sometimes the kids are still relooved. But good fathers deserve to be rewarded then they are celebrated on this day.
We’re not going to lie, most of the time when we hear about fathers it’s not good. We can ask Calogero or Chrichi Maé, the absence of a father is not easy. So yes, some are not cool or even outright absent and the cinema has its lot of rotten dads, but from time to time we also have guys who assume and who become the heroes of their offspring. Since it is today Father’s Day we decided to focus on the clear side of the force (sorry Dark Vador, you did not have your place in this ranking) and to come back on the best World!
The most BADASS – Liam Neeson in Taken . You do not want it, but if you ever get kidnapped by wicked people who want to sell your body in glaucous and dangerous countries, it’s cool to have him as a father. Honestly, with the only indication “half-moon tattoo blabla” , the guy finds you in 2 sec, smashes everyone and takes you home just in time to tell you a story that begins with ” I’ll find you, I’ll find you And I will kill you . ” We already dream!
The most dramatic – Bruce Willis in Armageddon . Again you do not want it either, but if an asteroid threatened to destroy the Earth and reduce humans to ashes, you would want Bruce. A dramatic hero who, instead of sacrificing his daughter’s boyfriend whom he does not care too much about (Ben Affleck), decides to stay to make sure that the big stone does not bother anyone. Result we chill in front of our screens when he says goodbye to his daughter played by Liv Tyler. Thank you for your sacrifice Bruce, we’ll never forget you.
The most rebellious, but we like it anyway – Marin in Némo . It is a little father who is always on your back and who does not really live your life, but it is still nice. All the fathers would not be willing to cross the ocean in search of a boat that is, to say the least, banal with an adorable but amnesic fish. Between sharks and jellyfish, it’s still a brave daron!
Most Comprehensive – JK Simmons in Juno . It is not necessarily expressive, but when it starts to make speeches, tears rise. His daughter, a high school student, tells him that she is pregnant, he does not get angry, he does not judge her (not badly anyway) and he even accompanies her to the family supposed to adopt the little one. Honestly, he is cool and we will remember this beautiful lesson of love “The good, it is the one who will always find that your shit feels the rose . ” Amen!
The most touching – Robin Williams in Ms. Doubtfire – Just thinking about it, we’re not good. The guy divorces and finds himself far from his kids and so as not to lose sight of them he disguises as an English nanny and clearly emerges stronger from this experience … Her (fake) breasts fail to catch fire, he gets dredged By the bus driver, but it proves that the love of a father can push a man to do much. We love it and besides we’ll go and ask to re-master the film. Kisses & Happy Birthday Dad.
