Homecoming : the new series from the creator of Mr. Robot looks monstrous

Mr. Robot will soon be completed, but Sam Esmail’s already gone off on another series : Homecoming with Julia Roberts.

While the fourth and final season of Mr. Robot approach, its creator Sam Esmail has already moved on to new horizons. And these backgrounds look just as beautiful and exciting. After the USA Network, he collaborates as well with Amazon for a new series entitled Homecoming and worn by Julia Roberts, who will make his first steps on the small screen.

And the first trailer of Homecoming confirms one thing : the father of Mr. Robot has not said its last word, next paranoid, ambience of death and staging exciting.

Homecoming revolves around Heidi Bergman (Julia Roberts), who worked in a centre for the reintegration of soldiers into civilian life. But while she has left for many years for its work to restart a whole new life, much more modest, she found herself questioned about her past. And she realized gradually that she did not know many things about her former employers.

Atmosphere of paranoia between A crime in the head and Alan J. Pakula (with which Julia Roberts has turned The Case pelican), photograph, desaturated, distressing music, framing those squared, work on the image formats, and a small peak of David Fincher (the air plans taped to the cars, as in Zodiac) : no doubt, there was the leg of Sam Esmail, who directed ten episodes of this first season. He had signed a few episodes of season 1 of Mr. Robot before all the lead from the second.

With Bobby Cannavale (already in Mr. Robot) and Sissy Spacek, and Jeremy Allen White and Stephan James, Homecoming has everything to be one of the events of the end of the year. It will be aired on Amazon Prime as of the 2nd of November. And Wide Screen will be one of its priorities.
