With the renewal of Runaways and Future Man, the streaming service Hulu is taking more and more importance on the market.

Netflix will finally have a real serious competitor ? Hulu had managed to create the surprise in April 2017 with the series dystopian The Handmaid”s Tale, very well received by the public and winner of a slew of prestigious Emmys and two big Golden Globes (recap here). Renewed for a second season scheduled for April 2018, the streaming platform does obviously not stop in so good way.

In fact, she has fangs and consolidates its catalog of original content now with the order of season 2 of Future Man and Runaways.

The runaways of Runaways

The news comes just before the broadcast of the season finale of season 1 of Runaways aired this night on Hulu. This season did pretty well with the public, as criticism (even if after 4 episodes, we were a bit more dubious). The series adapted from Marvel comics slots will be a sequel, but this time made up 13 episodes instead of 10.

Future Man on the other hand, the more discreet (yet very fun) delirium geek Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, will not see its number of episodes increase for the second season and will therefore remain at 13. No release date has been unveiled, but there is no doubt that Hulu is looking to beat the iron as long as it is still hot and that we should therefore not wait for a very long time.
