Lost in space will be back on Netflix in a new series.

Lost in space rhymes to much with the z series from 1998 with Matt LeBlanc, Heather Graham, Mimi Rogers, William Hurt and Gary Oldman, but it was originally a series of years 60, a competitor of Star Trek. First in black and white, it told the adventures of the Robinson family, chose to leave Earth become overpopulated in a version that is now very funny for a 1997 futuristic. But because of a nasty scientist, they were so lost in space.

Twenty years after the film of Stephen Hopkins who was a failure critical and public acclaim in 1998, Netflix is reviving the flame space with Lost in Space, a new series created by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, and worn by Molly Parker (House of Cards) and Toby Stephens. A first trailer has arrived.

The first footage resolutely serious, which restores a color of the more noble to the brand with energy very hollywood and exciting. Lost in Space version 2018 will take place in 2046, always with a Robinson family. After having encountered an anomaly in space-time, their ship Jupiter 2 crashes on an unknown planet, light years from their destination. They will then have to face an inhospitable environment, but also their own demons.

The new Robinson

With Neil Marshall (The Descent, the new Hellboy) at the completion of the pilot and the irresistible Parker Posey in the role of the famous doctor Smith, Lost in Space plot. This first trailer tour to the spectacular, and the promise of an adventure full of emotions, confirms this.

Appointment on the 13th of April on Netflix.
