The demons of Luther return to haunt him in a fifth season that unveils (finally) its first trailer.

When London gives birth to a new nightmare, Luther, planted by Idris Elba, puts on his costume of an inspector of the criminal of the british capital. With his new recruit Catherine Halliday (Wunmi Mosaku), they find themselves tangled in a cluster of tracks shady characters that seem to hide a criminal organization.

Luther, again, is forced to face his demons when he has to choose who to protect and who to sacrifice.

The series by Neil Cross (Mama) has already unveiled a trailer at the beginning of November. In the new trailer that we share today, fans will notice for sure the mini second left to Alice Morgan (Ruth Wilson) at the very end. The possibility of the return of the infamous psychopath certainly convince more viewers to watch this new season expected for 2015,

Idris Elba was unable to wear again the suit of Luther, too busy with Marvel and his role of Heimdall. Luther season 5 will arrive on the screens of the BBC around Christmas time, we do not know more about its release date, but a little reminder : this is Canal+ which broadcasts the series in France at the time.

In the meantime, the first four seasons are available on Netflix.
