Outlander season 3: 5 things to remember from the trailer

Earlier in the week, Starz finally unveiled the Outlander season 3 trailer. Here are the 5 things that should not be missed!

In just over a month, Outlander’s season 3 will start on US Starz and as one of the lucky ones who did not see the first episode in preview at Comic Con in San Diego, Must be content with the trailer. Fortunately, this trailer is packed with information and clues about Outlander’s season 3 and helps us wait a little until September 10th. Here are the 5 things that should not be missed in this video, which is above and you can see and review at will!
Claire tries to resume the course of her life
The trailer opens with a beautiful picture, that of Claire who has just given birth to a little girl, Brianna. She and Frank look really happy, as if Jaime and all that happened in Scotland had been totally set aside. Season 3 will resume in 1948, when Claire has just returned to its reality. However, the happiness of this birth will quickly disappear and the smile of Claire evaporate with the years, until turning into rancor. Jamie misses her and she sees him as soon as she looks at her daughter. Fortunately, if her marriage is a failure, Claire will be able to start treating people again and it has the merit to give her a smile again.

Jamie has a funny surprise on his way home
If life is not simple for Claire, it seems to be even less for Jamie. Not only did the battle of Culloden have been dark defeat, but he will be greeted by a nasty surprise on his way home. No sooner had he arrived than he was arrested by the English army, under the eyes of his sister Jenny, who said nothing. Fans who have read the books will see this as a big change from Voyager, the third volume on which the season is based. But the question we ask ourselves: Jenny really betrayed her, or is all this a plan put in place by the two characters to protect Lallybroch?
Lord John Gray is back
While we met Lord John Gray in season 2 of Outlander, the trailer confirms that he will be back in season 3 and will be working in the prison in which Jamie will be locked up during a long moment. The two characters should get closer and even become friends. One can also see Jamie confide to him about Claire and his feelings.
Roger finds evidence of Jamie’s survival
The trailer also confirms that Roger Wakefield will find the proof that Claire needed to have the motivation to get through the stones once again. Indeed, now that she has proof that Jamie has survived the battle of Culloden, we imagine that it is only a matter of time before the two lovebirds find themselves.

A cult scene of the novels will indeed take place!
Those who have read the books know, and have recognized the sign that Claire and Jamie are actually in the third season of Outlander. What is this index? The sign with written “A. Malcolm” which is suspended in front of a store in which Claire enters. It is indeed Jamie’s surname to live anonymously in Edinburgh. Once again, those who have the books know what to expect, and for others, know that this is a notorious scene of novels. We can hope that their reunion will be in the first part of the season.
