Project Blue Book is a series out of nowhere which could be a future nice surprise.

The amateur paranormal has given multiple chances to X-Files, resurrected against all good sense, cast an eye on Ghosted, or hoped that the anthology American Horror Story, not plunges finally for good in the world of science fiction. Before you fall back on Stranger Things, as almost all the world.

Until that Project Blue Book does not arrive quietly onto the scene. Produced by Robert Zemeckis, who has encountered the alien in Contact with Jodie Foster, the series carried out by Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones, the wire) and Michael Malarkey (Vampire Diaries) looks like a mix between close Encounters of the third kind, X-Files and even The president’s Men, as evidenced by this first trailer is very stylized.

Project Blue Book is the name that has been given to one of the studies sponsored by the u.s. government on the UFO, between 1952 and 1969. The purpose was twofold : to determine if these flying objects unidentified and more present according to the témoignagnes, were threats to the internal security, and scientific analysis of the data related to the apparitions. The result will be, of course, that no evidence had been sufficient and that there was no evidence of the existence of aliens in the sky above planet earth.

A page fascinating american history, and human, which gives a perfect backdrop for a series tinged with paranoia. Project Blue Book will follow two men who met to carry out the investigation, and who will discover things not to be good catholics while confronting the lies of state. Aidan Gillen embodies Josef Allen Hynek, a famous astronomer who has worked during his entire life on the UFO.

Expected on the channel History, the ten episodes are announced for the end of 2018.
