Riverdale: Episode 8, Polly finally chooses his camp, our critic

Last night Riverdale was back with his episode 8 on The CW . Again, the series offered us its share of shocking revelations and many twists that make the success of the show and make us more and more addicted. Melty’s editorial unveils, without further ado, his criticism of Riverdale ‘s episode 8 . “Chapter Eight: The Outsiders” opens with Polly, who tells her story with Jason until she had to find her boyfriend to escape. But unfortunately, her parents locked her up in a troubled youth facility. It reveals that before his death, Jason allied himself with the Snakes to sell drugs and make money. Betty s’ Worried about her sister’s situation but Veronica keeps hope and even decides to organize a baby shower to reconcile the Cooper with their daughter hoping they will accept the baby. However, Alice continues to think that adopting the baby is the best solution but Betty asks her to choose between being a caring grandmother or taking the risk of not being part of the life of Polly in Riverdale . For his part, Fred can not start his new job in the place of the drive-in because Cliff Blossom made an offer that his team could not refuse … The father of Archie finds himself alone and in galley. He then confesses to his son that his business is in great difficulty in Riverdale .
Hermione is afraid of this meeting between the Coopers and the Blossom, and if Cheryl’s family discovers who is the drive-in buyer, they could declare war on them in Riverdale . But apparently it’s already between Cliff and Fred. However, Archie has assembled her own crew to help her father in their spare time. That makes us even more appreciate the hero! At Pop’s, Hermione meets Alice to try to convince her to come to the baby shower to support Polly. On the construction site, everything goes well but after work, two people rumble everything and go after poor Moose who had forgotten his phone. His aggressors warned him that as long as they continued to work, they would return. Is Cliff behind all this? The sheriff in doubt! Archie leans for the Serpents because the yard is on their territory. While Polly asks Betty to be her baby’s godmother, Archie is determined to confront the Snakes in Riverdale . That obviously does not suit Jughead and worries Betty and Ronnie. Archie is disappointed by his best friend but Juggy only protects his father … At the bar, Moose seems to recognize one of his assailants. Archie confronts him but gets caught until FP, Jughead’s father intervenes. If Archie accuses him, FP seems innocent and did not hesitate to warn Fred. As for Alice, she finally shows up at the baby shower and seems happy to find her daughter while Penelope apologizes to Polly. As for FP, He offers Fred to help him find the culprits. Jughead apologizes to Betty who says he needs to talk to his father who probably knows something about Jason in Riverdale. However, FP does not teach them anything really new and claims that he has nothing to do with Jason’s death. Jughead seems to believe it. At the Cooper’s, Alice is furious with her husband and accuses her of having done to Polly what he did to her . This episode offers us revelations on revelations! Hal confides to him that he will not take part in the education of a child with blood Blossom. Alice puts it out! Ambiance … The Coopers are not so perfect! Jughead now apologizes to Archie. Meanwhile, FP asks Kevin’s boyfriend to get rid of Jason’s jacket. One learns then that it leaves with the son of the sheriff out of interest and not out of love although it begins to have some scruples. On the jobsite, Fred and Hermione find FP who offers them a brand new crew able to handle the problems. He then tells Veronica’s mother that Hiram seems to be behind the vandalism of the yard and the assault of Moose because of her romance with Fred! Finally, if Betty and Alice did everything to be reunited with Polly, she finally chose to join the Blossom. We did not expect this twist! We did not expect to sympathize so much with Alice. “Chapter Eight: The Outsiders” was once again a very good episode, the series maintains the suspense and remains addictive. One likes his way of showing the characters in their different facets which makes it possible to keep this mystery about their possible involvement. We can not wait to be next week!
