Sharp Objects : Amy Adams in the pursuit of a killer in the new trailer twisted series thriller

The series thriller performed by Jean-Marc Vallée with Amy Adams in the lead role installs its mystery in its trailer.

While HBO has offered us the pearl tv of the year with Barry (our full review), which she continues to do the job with the season of Westworld and its promising Succession (our critique of the pilot) has just started its broadcast, the american chain has programs to sell to the rest of 2018.

Among them, the drama series Sharp Objects. Created by Jean-Marc Vallée, based on the book by Gillian Flynn (author and screenwriter of Gone Girl), produced by Blumhouse, created by Marti Noxon (behind Buffy against the vampires), the series will be carried by actress Amy Adams in the lead role. After a teaser revealed at the end of April, the show HBO has unveiled a little more in a new trailer.

The heroine is Camille Preaker, a journalist specialized in criminal affairs, returns to his hometown just out of his stay in a psychiatric hospital. On-site, it will investigate the murders of two young girls who are going to bring to confront his own demons and ghosts of the past. This is not trivial if the song Ghost of The Acid highlights these new images.

With this trailer, the series promises to be very dark and the atmosphere is especially creepy. The investigation will be, it will, without doubt, very mysterious, and could turn into a puzzle mind captivating throughout the eight episodes of this season. Hope, however, that the series does not use too many flashbacks, a process that has become more and more forbidding, as the trailer seems to suggest a minimum.

The broadcast of the series will begin on 8 July next year on HBO, and as soon as the next day on OCS in France.
