Sorry, the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and iPad 4 are not compatible with iOS 11!
As foreseen, some iPhone and iPad will not have an update to iOS 11. The iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and iPad 4 are going to settle for iOS 10. But Apple, why did you do that?
By introducing the iOS 11 update that brings a lot of new features for iPhone and iPad, Apple has buried 32-bit apps. But what does it change concretely? Well, not much in the end. Or rather, if. Applications that do not go into 64 bits will eventually disappear . Worse, this also means that several Apple terminals are not compatible with this major update of its mobile operating system. With this spring cleaning, Apple forces the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and iPad 4 to stay under iOS 10.
If it is not compatible with 32-bit devices such as iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and iPad 4, iOS 11 will be accessible on all terminals that followed the iPhone 5s, the first smartphone headed to 64 bits. Here is the list of devices compatible with this new iOS: iPhone SE, iPhone 5S, iPhone 6 and 6 (Plus), iPhone 6s (Plus), iPhone 7 and 7 (Plus), iPad Pro, iPad mini 2/3/4, IPod touch 6G and iPad Air 1 or 2 .
