Split: An intense and captivating thriller, our critic

Today is the movie Split in the dark rooms. A thriller in which James McAvoy lends his features to a young man who is fighting with his 23 personalities.
Mr. Night Shyamalan is back! If you like classic movies from the director to whom we need Sixth Sense , Unbreakable or Signs , then you should love Split with James McAvoy & Anya Taylor-Joy . The film takes us into the story of Kevin, a young man who developed 23 personalities with different physical attributes for each and very differentiable characters. If all are more or less under control, a 24th personality is about to emerge and the latter looks much more dangerous than the others. Pushed to kidnap 3 young girls, Kevin becomes the focus of a war between his various personalities until one takes precedence over the others.
James McAvoy proves the extent of his talent in this film where he lends his features to 9 different characters, succeeding in making him understand who he is to the spectators in just a few seconds. He is helped by the very convincing performances of his co-stars, including Anya Taylor-Joy who lends her traits to one of the young girls kidnapped by Kevin. From beginning to end we are intrigued by history, we want to understand how a person is able to change both physically and morally and above all, we are eager to discover this mysterious personality that makes others so afraid. The film is well built, you do not get bored a single second and the end is surprising .
