Suits season 7: Episode 3, The arrival of Alex sows discord, our critic

Cinema 28 July, 2017

Last night, the American channel USA Network broadcast the episode 3 of the season 7 of Suits. Then discover our review of “Mudmare”!

The least that can be said is that the arrival of Alex Williams at Pearson Specter Litt did not happen calmly and this created a lot of discord within the firm. In episode 3 of season 7 of Suits, there are still many disputes and it is true that we would like the tensions to subside a little in the episodes to come. Louis, in particular, lived through several difficult moments began with his nightmare which gave his name to this episode. We know, Louis is afraid that the arrival of Alex hinders his friendship with Harvey, something he has been looking for since season 1 of Suits. His psychologist advises him to see this as an opportunity to make a new friend and, contrary to all expectations, it turns out that Alex and Louis have much more in common than one would have thought. But, of course, several events will come and turn everything upside down.

Once again, Harvey’s behavior will challenge everything. And if, in contrast to the first seasons, his personal life unfolds better, Harvey chains the wrong decisions within the cabinet. Not only is he still not taking Louis seriously, as you can see when he talks to Alex. But, in addition, Harvey uses Louis’s feelings to discredit him when he is opposed to the decision he made regarding Mike’s pro bono affair. If Louis is mature in his relationships and is working hard, Harvey is struggling to manage all of his new responsibilities – and he is not the only one. Donna and Rachel, each holding a new position within the firm, find it hard to find their place. However, where Harvey remains in positions, Donna and Rachel both succeed in seeing their mistakes and do not hesitate to question themselves.

Rachel decides to concentrate on being the best lawyer possible at the moment, and it is therefore Donna who will take over the management of the partners. We are glad to have seen them more in this episode, especially Rachel, and have their own plot. As for Mike and Alex, even if they only met briefly in this episode, we are eager to see how their relationship will grow because it is much more interesting than to use Louis as the jealous of the band. Moreover, the final scene with Louis is quite upsetting, especially when he starts to say “Harvey” instead of the name of his psychiatrist, Dr. Lipschitz, and that one understands that his real wound is that Harvey Always sees him as a bad man, which is not the case. Until you know how it all will evolve, know that you can always read our review of episode 2 of season 7 of Suits.
