The 100, Gray’s Anatomy, The Vampire Diaries: Our Top Series of March 2017!

Cinema 31 March, 2017

You want to know what series you should not miss during the last month? Discover without delay our Top Series of March 2017!
On the last day of March, it is time to meet to take stock of the series that have been broadcast and to keep the ten that have marked us most. If Riverdale, How To Get Away With Murder and The Vampire Diaries were on the top three steps of the podium, what will happen this month? One thing is for sure, the last few weeks have been very busy in series and we have had to say goodbye to one of the most emblematic series of the CW, The Vampire Diaries . After 8 years of loyal service, the series of Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson has bowed out and this was certainly one of the highlights of this March. But truce of gossip and discover without further delay our Top:
10 – The 100
Season 4 of The 100 continues and advances, certainly, but we still still turn a little round. The last episode, “God Complex,” presented us with the perennial dilemmas faced by the characters since the pilot of Season 1. Does Clarke have to save the greatest number and sacrifice lives? Can survivors give up what remains of humanity to survive? Will the nuclear apocalypse (bis) kill them all? Themes seen and revisited remain interesting only thanks to a well-conducted rhythm and the suspense always at the rendezvous . The series of Jason Rothenberg enters our top by the small door and we hope not to be disappointed afterwards!
9 – Scandal
The sixth season of Scandal has really started well, offering us explosive US elections with a most unexpected outcome. However, during the episodes, we notice that the concept of flashback is really not used wisely, requiring us to review the same scenes several times. The revelations of episode 7 have given a bit of spice to the plots , including putting Abby in the camp of the bad guys, but the revelation comes late, after an episode with too many lengths. We hope we will soon be finished with the flashbacks so that we can see the plot really advance.
8 – The Flash
While The Flash is going through a rather dark period with much less intriguing than usual, she made a truce for an episode by offering us a musical crossover with Supergirl . The exercise of the musical episode is something that several series have tried but few have managed to actually master. If we are far from an episode as poetic as that of Buffy vampires , or as funny as those of Community , the musical episode between The Flash and Supergirl is a success from the point of view of the staging and the songs . The episode actually transports us. Unfortunately the intrigue a little too simplistic and quickly settled spoils the rest a little. In any case,
7 – Designated Survivor
Designated Survivor made its big comeback in March, after several months of break, and it was a real pleasure to find the series! With its steady rhythm, its reversals of situation with each episode and its endearing characters, the series of ABC captivates us in spite of its faults . The series does not hesitate to surprise us by getting rid of characters unexpectedly. Moreover, Kiefer Sutherland is always as endearing in the role of the Beginning President. If you have not already started the series, it is highly recommended, besides you can find it on Netflix.
6 – Iron Fist
The last of the Defenders made his arrival on Netflix during the month of March and it must be admitted that the series has much less appealed to us than the previous three. Unlike Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, Iron Fist brings nothing new to the genre and we feel that the series lacks a specific goal. Nevertheless, everything is not to be thrown into Iron Fist and it remains a very nice series of superheroes to follow, with Finn Jones in the role of a lighter and more friendly hero than his future teammates . Some good surprises are to be found in the series and it remains a good entertainment!
5 – Gray’s Anatomy
This second part of the season 13 of Gray’s Anatomy is really in the teeth. Sometimes the series annoys us, sometimes it moves us, as for example with episode 18 of season 13 that was broadcast last night on ABC. Once again, the series is at its best when it focuses on its characters and emotions, rather than on patients . Whether in the episode centered on Jackson and April or on Maggie and her mother, we find what we love so much about the series and we breathe a little far from the disputes concerning Eliza Minnick or the relationship between Owen and Amelia. We really hope that the end of this thirteenth season will be more like the last episode!
4 – The Walking Dead
Despite a small dip in some episodes, The Walking Dead remains at the top of our rankings thanks in particular to a good progress of the plot. At an episode of a final season that looks very rhythmic, all the pawns are in place so that the confrontation between Rick and Negan finally begins and we can not wait to see this . Between the mission of Sasha and Rosita, Morgan’s evolution, Oceanside’s forced involvement and the determination of Rick, Michonne and the band, this second part of season 7 took its time but offered us Very good times. It remains to be seen whether episode 16 will live up to our expectations,
3 – Big Little Lies
After a little too slow start, Big Little Lies finally managed to impose on us through powerful and poignant episodes . Celeste (Nicole Kidman), Madeline (Reese Witherspoon) and Jane (Shailene Woodley) revealed themselves through their secrets and victories and took us to a world of their own, completely forgetting the murder behind The series – and that’s all the better . With a single episode of the end, we hope that the final series will be equally striking but by bringing us the many answers necessary to avoid a certain frustration.
2 – The Vampire Diaries
This month, it’s with a heavy heart that millions of fans have had to say goodbye to one of their fetish series: The Vampire Diaries . After eight years of adventures, the vampires of Mystic Falls bid farewell to the small screen, offering us a nostalgic ending that made more than one cry. The return of Elena was certainly one of the highlights of the final series, including the scene she shares with Stefan – a sweet-bitter moment that we are not ready to forget. Whether we liked or not the last seasons of the series, we must admit that it is a huge page that turns for fans and for the channel. The Vampire Diaries will have, in its own way, marked the spirits .
1 – This Is Us
It is difficult not to put This is Us on the first step of the podium, given that the first season ended brilliantly on March 14 on NBC. This season is an end-to-end success and it is therefore normal that we pay tribute to its true worth . The last episode is equal to what one could expect: touching, true, human. Thanks to its success, This is Us shows that you can manage to be at the top without zombies, international conspiracies and other artifices. Now, the wait is going to be damn long before we can discover the sequel, but we can always revisit with pleasure this first season that we were passionate. What is your top series of March 2017?
