The production car V8-the most powerful in the world has been a history of a year.

Dodge has confirmed that the Challenger SRT Demon, built to only 3300 copies to 2018, was not going to be back in 2019. “2018 only, and it is finished. Those who expect for the next year are going to miss their turn,” commented Tim Kuniskis, a top executive of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in North America, in an interview granted to the publication CarBuzz.

And even if Dodge decided to change idea, the american manufacturer would be subject to prosecution on the part of the current owners of Demon, who had already promised that the 3300 best products would be the only ones. As an increase in production would lower the rarity and value of the models already existing, one could understand being frustrated.

Of the 3300 Challenger SRT Demon built by Dodge, 3000 were destined for the u.s. market, while another 300 were reserved for canadian consumers.

Built specifically for racing, the Challenger Demon is sold with no passenger seat, no back seat and even without the carpet in the trunk. All this to lighten the weight of the vehicle to the maximum! These elements are, however, available as an option at the minimal cost of$1.
