Just arrived on the market, the powerful Ford Focus RS is getting ready already to leave us.
On 6 April, the German factory where it is manufactured will officially end its production in beauty with 50 units termed “Heritage Edition”. All orange in colour, these 50 last Focus RS will, however, be equipped with a right-hand drive and destined for the English market.
Sold from 58 988$ in Canada, the RS is not a Focus as the other. Far from it. With a gear wheel four-wheel drive and a turbocharged engine of 2.3-litre, 350-horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, it is only available with a manual transmission to six reports. A treat for the purists.

We would have liked to keep it longer, but the departure of the RS is inevitable. Ford set to unveil Focus of new generation and as the RS is constructed from the current model, it will pass unfortunately the wringer.
After that, you need to wait until Ford we concoct another RS with the future Focus. And this, it may take a lot of time.
In the meantime, at least, other models such as the Volkswagen Golf R, the Subaru WXR STI and the Honda Civic Type R will remain in position to satisfy our needs for adrenaline.
