They are the few, the lucky ones who were able to put the hand on the sublime Ford GT 2017. Richard Abbot, of Ottawa, is part of the group, and he was finally able to put his hand on his new car.
At the outset, the goal of Ford was to build 500 copies of the new GT in two years. But the demand was so high that the manufacturer has revised these figures upwards, announcing that the WG would rather be meeting at 1000 units over the next four years. And it will be in Canada, in a factory in Markham, Ontario.
Despite that, it is not enough to get out its checkbook to buy a Ford GT. Taking orders, Ford had to fill in a form comprehensive to all potential buyers and kept the right to decide who she was going to grant vehicles.

Some consumers, even with all the wealth of the world, therefore, denied the new Ford GT, at least for its first two years of production. Others, such as Richard The Abbot, received a positive response.
Heavily involved on the track at Calabogie Motorsports Park, not too far from Ottawa, Mr. Abbot has officially taken possession of his GT on the circuit of ontario.

A meteor spectacular
Heir spiritual of the legendary GT40, winner of 24 Hours of le Mans four times, the new GT 2017 is the car the fastest production ever built by Ford. It can reach a maximum speed that is simply phenomenal to 346 km/h.
This is made possible thanks to its biturbo V6 engine of 3.5 litre, 647 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque. Ford has also done everything possible to reduce the weight of the car, including using more aluminum components and carbon fiber.
