Season 2 of the Handmaid”s Tale is expected to arrive on the 25th of April next on our screens.

Phenomenon of the year 2017, welcomed by all of the criticism (ours HERE), the public, and honored by the most prestigious awards of the hollywood industry (Emmys and Golden Globes), The Handmaid”s Tale has been a huge success in the world of the small screen. All the more that the adaptation of the novel by Margaret Atwood, superbly led by its lead actress Elisabeth Moss, has put on the table of the subjects, and about sounding strong within the current society.

It will not take long for the streaming platform Hulu (at full expansion) to renew its series and order a season 2 a few weeks after the airing of the season 1. After a first teaser announcement in mid-November, the platform has swung to a first trailer of the new season.

In these first images of the season 2, accompanied by a recovery of women the For What It s Worth Buffalo Spingfield, Offred arrives in the Colonies so much dreaded. During the announcement of their line-up, Hulu had explained that the new season would focus on the pregnancy of Offred (Elisabeth Moss) and his continuous struggle to liberate his future child to the horrors dystopian Gilead.

The cast will return in its virtual entirety as shown in this first trailer (Max Minghella, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley or Ann Dowd), but according to information obtained by Entertainment Weekly, the actress Marisa Tomei will also be of the party. The magazine also revealed that season 2 will have 13 episodes instead of 10 for season 1) and will begin on April 25 next with two episodes in a row.
