The Hyundai Santa Fe is the subject of a funny reminder from Transport Canada.

According to the government agency, and the Santa Fe 2018, and its variant “Sport”, which contain a manufacturing defect that makes it so that the steering wheel could separate from the rest of the vehicle when the vehicle is in motion.
In short, if you drive a Santa Fe 2018, it could be that the steering wheel does not respond suddenly to your commands. “This could cause an accident that could result in injury or equipment damage,” says Transport Canada.
For the country as a whole, 8456 vehicles are affected by the recall. Hyundai dealers will inspect each of these models and install a steering wheel modified, as needed.
