Out the version perky and friendly Sabrina, the teenage witch. Version 2018 made in Netflix promises to be diabolically darker.

There are a few days back, Sabrina was revealed in a first trailer. Which was clearly up the sauce and foreshadowed a series of dark and horrific. This is not for nothing that the project’s director, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (incidentally the producer on Riverdale) had stated that his show was going to very clearly take inspiration from the masterpieces horrific of the time, namely : Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist.

As new that clearly, were the new adventures of Sabrina, a remake of more and more interesting. All the more when the trailer pays homage obvious Night of The living dead as soon as his first sentence.

This new trailer, brought to light a few lines of scenario additional. Sabrina will have to make a choice major on the day of his 16 years : pass on the side of the witches, or stay among the mortals. A difficult decision that the world will try to mingle. And so when the devil in person is invited into the party, Sabrina is going to have to redouble their efforts to find a solution.

All the more that the young ” half-witch, half-human, must struggle to reconcile his dual nature, it must also oppose the forces of evil that threaten their to take his family and the rest of the world.” Not easy the life for a teenager anyway. Side casting, one will thus find Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men ) in the skin of the young heroine, accompanied by Lucy Davis (Shaun of the Dead) and Miranda Otto (the Lord of The Rings) and Richard Coyle (Grabbers) lending his traits to the Father Blackwood.

The new adventures of Sabrina will be released on the platform, Netflix on the 26th of October next.
