The Rolling Stones have just released a new album: Blue & Lonesome. Twenty-third album recorded in the studio, this cake is a set of 12 pieces times Blues, from the 50 and 60.
Blue & Lonesome : title of a piece of blues harmonica player Little Walter and guitarist, is the name of the new album of the Rolling Stones , 11 years after A Bigger Bang and a few weeks after the publication of a vintage box containing the sixties albums of the group, not to mention the CD and DVD of the historic concert of the band in Havana : Havana Moon , the Stones are more than present in the trays, in this Christmas season.
Blue & Lonesome was released on December 2, 2016. It contains 12 songs written or performed by Blues Walter Jacobs, Willie Dixon, Samuel Maghett, Jimmy Reed, Chester Burnett and Eddie Taylor.
The album was recorded in three days in mid-December 2015, the British Grove Studios in London.
The Rolling Stones (Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ron Wood) are surrounded musician Darryl Jones on bass, Chuck Leavell and Matt Clifford on keyboards and some Eric Clapton plays guitar on two songs on the album . In production, it is Don Was holding the handles, as it has done since 1994.
