The series, American Nightmare is accurate and caste its two main actors

While American Nightmare 4 is coming out soon, a tv series was also announced in parallel, and we learn a bit more about its plot and its cast.

After the release of’American Nightmare 4 (actually a prequel) July 4, 2018, the franchise launched in 2013 with American Nightmare will be adapted to tv series. It has been announced in 2016 by the creator of the franchise, James Monaco, but until now, no timeline had been announced.

It is now done, since the series has just revealed, via Deadline, his actor and his actress main, as well as biographical information about their characters.

We will, therefore, in the series the Purge the adventures of a brother and a sister, incarnated by two actors that are relatively unknown. It is named Miguel and will be performed by Gabriel Chavarria : “a US marine hard, pursuing a noble mission”. He receives a letter from his sister who urges him to return hurriedly to the fold during the Bleed, which will lead of course to confront a wave of violence and murders.

The so-called sister, Penelope, will be camped by Jessica Garza, and it would appear that it is part of a “cult, dedicated to purging”. She is supposed to willingly sacrifice the leader of the cult during the night bloody, but she, of course, has another idea in mind.

This idea of worship, briefly discussed in American Nightmare 2 and American Nightmare 3 : Election, will therefore be explored in more depth in the series, but for the moment, that’s all we know. The filming is expected to begin in April in New Orleans, but Syfy has not yet announced a release date.
