With its platform, DC Universe, DC Comics intends to strike a blow in the ultra-competitive tv series. And for that, he will stop at nothing, even going so far as to hire a former secret agent.
Now you know, if DC tries to go up the slope at the cinema, on tv it goes much better. But, in the context of its restructuring, we were especially surprised to learn the construction of a digital platform is nothing to him, called DC Universe. A streaming service to Netflix, which will arrive in 2019, although for the moment this is only for the USA, and which should offer a lot of original series and prestigious, including Swamp Thing, the Titans, Harley Quinn, Young Justice…
Brendan Fraser
But there is one that holds our attention in particular, Doom Patrol. Because the story is still special since it follows a team of superheroes like no other that brings together outcats disabled or marked by an accident that Professor Niles Caulder sends protect the planet. A potential shifted some of which could eventually become The Guardians of the Galaxy DC, without too much exaggeration, of course, the two worlds are still very different.
Timothy Dalton
If we learned two weeks ago with a certain happiness that Brendan Fraser there will be Robotman, our joy is tenfold today when the site Deadline we announced the arrival in the series of Timothy Dalton. The former James Bond should indeed appear in the guise of Dr. Niles Caulder, the man who orders the Doom Patrol, and mad scientist of his statet, and this is great news as its wry humour, can make miracles.
It must, however, be patient because the series is not expected before 2020 and that, to do things right, the characters will appear first in the 5th episode of the Titans, history of the presentations.
